The Toyota Land Cruiser ranks #2 in Malawi in 2022.
1,232 new vehicles were sold in Malawi in 2022, including medium and heavy commercials. Toyota holds a staggering 48.5% share thanks to almost 600 sales. Nissan comes in second place with 16.9% share ahead of Isuzu at 8.1%, Tata at 6.9% and Ford at 6.3%. Hino, Mitsubishi and Suzuki follow. Over in the models lane, the Toyota Hilux is the best-seller with 16.7% of the market, distancing the Toyota Land Cruiser at 10.5% and the Nissan Navara at 8%. Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup and Ford Ranger round out the Top 5, while at #6 the Isuzu D-Max makes it five pickups in the Top 6.
