MG HS #1 in two nations, Nissan Qashqai and VW T-Roc #1 in one – Best Selling Cars Blog – KVR News

The MG HS tops two UK nations in January.

Thanks to SMMT we can share with you the Top 10 best-sellers for each UK nation in January. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation, all sales figures are already included in the January 2023 UK update. Wales at +17.4% to 4,890 registrations is the best performing nation this month, followed by England at +15.9% and 111,114 units, Northern Ireland at +12.6% to 4,687 and Scotland up 3.8% to 11,023.

Podium finishers are as follows: the MG HS is #1 in Scotland and Wales, #2 in England where it misses out on the top spot for 11 sales, and #4 in Northern Ireland, the Nissan Qashqai is #1 in England and # 4 in Scotland, the VW T-Roc is #1 in Northern Ireland and #3 in England and Scotland, the MG ZS is #2 in Scotland (making it a MG 1-2 with the HS) and #4 in Wales, the Hyundai Tucson is #2 in Northern Ireland, the Ford Puma #2 in Wales and the Ford Fiesta #3 in Northern Ireland.

Other great performers include the Mazda2 #5 in Scotland for its first Top 10 finish there, Nissan Juke #5 in Northern Ireland, Toyota Corolla #6 in Northern Ireland and #7 in Scotland, Peugeot 208 #6 in Scotland, Toyota C-HR #7 in Northern Ireland, Ford Ecosport #7 in Wales, Kia Picanto #8 in Scotland, VW Tiguan #9 in Northern Ireland and #10 in Scotland, Toyota Yaris #10 in England and Audi A1 #10 in Wales.
